CONTACT US: REACH THE MEG QUITUTUA DESK
The fastest way to contact us. We read every message Monday to Friday and reply within one business day.
Contact us Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are a small team, so please keep it short and specific. Include the page URL or the product name so we can route the message without a round of questions.
Write to us
Prefer a form? Use the one below. We ask for your name, email and message, then we route it to the right editor. You will see a confirmation message once it sends, so you know it arrived.
What to include
Tips: name the product and attach a receipt or photo. Corrections: send the page URL and a source. Pitches: tell us your trade, your angle and whether you can supply original photos. We do not accept guest posts with paid links, as set out by the US FTC.
Response times
We batch email twice a day. Messages that arrive before noon usually get an answer the same afternoon. Anything sent at the weekend waits until Monday morning. If your note is urgent and time sensitive, put URGENT in the subject line and say what deadline you are working to.
Press and partnerships
Brands, contractors and property businesses can reach us for factual questions. We will not promise coverage and we will not run pre-written copy. If a partnership is paid it is clearly labelled as advertising before a reader clicks.
Reader tips that help most
The best emails are specific. A product that failed, a quote that hid extra work, a contractor who disappeared, a finish that marked after a month. Name the product or company and the date, and attach a photo if you can. We can act on that.
Before you write
Many questions are answered in the guides themselves. Start with the key facts box and the sections on costs and contracts. If something is still unclear, ask away and include the link so we know where the gap is.
What we cannot help with
We cannot inspect a property, approve a structural change or give legal advice on a contract. We also cannot recommend a specific contractor in your area or act as an emergency service. If water is entering the building or a wall looks unsafe, contact a qualified local professional now rather than waiting for an email reply.
We can explain what a document usually means, what a quote should include and which questions to ask before work starts. That general guidance is useful preparation, but it does not replace an on-site assessment by someone with the right licence and insurance.
Freelance and trade contributors
Writers, photographers, surveyors and experienced tradespeople are welcome to pitch. Tell us the project, the angle and what access you have. A short note with two links to previous work is more useful than a full draft, and it is easier for us to reply quickly.
We pay on publication and credit every contributor. We do not run unpaid internships or accept guest posts that exist only to build links. If you have a story that would help a homeowner avoid an expensive mistake, we want to hear it.
How we handle corrections
If a guide contains a wrong price, a broken link or advice that no longer matches current rules, tell us and include the page URL. We check the claim against the original source, update the article and add a note if the change is substantial. We do not remove a correction request because it is inconvenient.
For a factual dispute, send evidence rather than opinion. A manufacturer's current specification sheet, a regulation on a government site or a dated photograph is enough to start a review. We aim to answer within one business day and to publish a correction within 48 hours.
Say hello. Real humans read every email.
